Castillo de Rambouillet

Nunca nos van a faltar castillos y palacios para visitar en Francia. Ya contamos nuestra visita al castillo de Fontainebleau, al castillo de Courances y al castillo de Vaux le Vicomte.

En este caso se trata de visitar el Castillo de Rambouillet y también sus alrededores que son muy bonitos.




Fortaleza (siglo XIV) modificada, situada en medio del bosquet de Rambouillet. Esta residencia real ha acogido entre otros a François Ier, al Conde de Toulouse, al Duque de Penthièvre, a Louis XVI y Marie-Antoinette y a Napoléon entro otros.
A partir de 1833, la residencia real se convierte en la residencia oficial de los presidentes de la República francesa.
En su parque se encuentran la Laiterie (Lechería) de la Reina y la Chaumière aux Coquillages (Choza de las Conchas).

Huéspedes ilustres

Desde la muerte del rey Francisco I en 1547, el castillo de Rambouillet se convierte en la residencia de los personajes más ilustres de la historia de Francia: el conde de Toulouse, Luis XVI, Napoleón I y, a partir del siglo XIX, los presidentes de la República lo emplean para sus jornadas de caza.

Jardines y fábricas

Los jardines franceses y anglochinos son una caja de sorpresas para los visitantes. La Lechería de la reina María Antonieta muestra el fausto de toda una época y un arte de vivir ampliamente impregnado de los valores de la Ilustración.
Mientras que la Cabaña de las conchas presenta una decoración de extrema fineza en Europa.

Choza de las Conchas

En la parte del parque de estilo jardín inglés, se erige la Chaumière aux Coquillages (Choza de las Conchas) edificada por encargo del duque de Penthièvre para la princesa de Lamballe.
Su decoración, realizada con conchas, trocitos de mármol y nacar es muy original. Un pequeño cuarto de baño, con delicados relieves de madera pintada se comunica con la sala principal.

El bosque de Rambouillet

El bosque tiene una superficie de 22.000 hectáreas, de las que 14.000 son de bosque patrimonial, el magnífico macizo forestal de Rambouillet hace las delicias de los caminantes, los ciclistas y los caballistas con sus senderos pedestres, carriles bici y pistas de caballos.
Aquí se encuentra el Espacio Rambouillet, un parque de animales de 250 hectáreas de extensión creado por la Oficina Nacional de Bosques.
A través de diferentes circuitos, jalonados de puntos de observación, se pueden contemplar las evoluciones de animales salvajes como ciervos, ciervas, corzos, uros, gamos o jabalíes en su medio natural.

Lugares cercanos

Al sureste de Rambouillet Rochefort-en-Yvelines qpenas ha cambiado con el tiempo.
Montfort-L’Amaury es un pueblo del siglo XI, es uno de los más lindos de la zona, con su castillo sobre la colina.

Abadía de Vaux-de-Cernay

Fundada en 1148, la abadía se encuentra a 10 km al noreste de Rambouillet es espectacular, con techos abovedados y paredes de piedra.
Funcionó como una próspera abadía hasta la revolución y actualmente es un hotel de lujo.

Visita al Castillo de Rambouillet

En la visita podemos recorrer el Palacio, los apartamentos, el establo de la reina, el redil y los jardines acuáticos de estilo Francés, con sus lagos artificiales.
Uno de los salones más famosos es el baño de Napoleón I decorado con un fresco. Tambiñen hay un chalé cuyo interior esta decorado con conchas marinas, madreperla y mármol.

Recomendación

Un precioso lugar, recomiendo totalmente a visitar el castillo y luego pasear por el hermoso parque que está abierta la mayor parte del tiempo.

Como llegar

Desde París, tomar la Porte de Saint-Cloud, seguida de la carretera A 13; a través de la salida nº 6, se accede a la carretera A 12, y luego se toma la calle principal N 10; a partir de allí, las señalizaciones guían hasta Rambouillet.
Duración de la visita guiada: 1.30 hs. (en francés, inglés, español y ruso).
