París es una ciudad para visitar siempre, porque además de su lista de barrios más famosos, también tiene una lista aún más larga de distritos alternativos que valen tanto tiempo como el anterior.

Un buen ejemplo de uno de estos lugares es el menos conocido Bercy Village. El distrito de Bercy se encuentra en el distrito 12, justo en la orilla del Sena, donde el 12 y el 13 cruzan las fronteras.
Es una de las mejores zonas para salir si te gusta el ambiente de pueblo, aunque se encuentre a dentro de la capital. Bercy Village se organiza alrededor de la calle Cour Saint Émilion, puedes llegar con la línea 14 del metro a la parada del mismo nombre.
No me sorprendería si, para la mayoría de ustedes, esta es la primera vez que escuchan sobre Bercy. El 12 es una zona parisina que a veces puede descuidarse un poco en el radar turístico debido a la gran popularidad de los vecinos 11 y 13.
Por esta razón, aventurarse hasta aquí  se convierte en un descanso del caos turístico que conllevan estos distritos circundantes. Un corto paseo hacia el sur o hacia el norte hacia el río Sena (dependiendo de dónde vengas) y de repente te encuentras en una parte aparentemente intacta de París.

El barrio de Bercy Village

El vecindario de Bercy en sí mismo suele ser descrito por los transeúntes como “tranquilo y sereno”. Es ambas cosas a la vez que es un destacado distrito de entretenimiento en todo París.
Bercy está lleno de restaurantes y tiendas que ofrecen una variedad ecléctica de cosas para hacer en un día o una noche. Entre las calles también hay algunas áreas de parques exuberantes donde los visitantes pueden instalarse durante unas horas entre explorar la zona.

Que ver en Bercy

Parque Bercy

Bercy Park es un espacio público que forma parte del desarrollo urbano que tuvo lugar en Bercy antes de 2001.
Bercy Park era el antiguo huerto del distrito de Bercy cuando los comerciantes de vino gobernaban la tierra. El espacio es vasto y verde: en verano y primavera hay hermosas flores en flor.
La tranquilidad del parque también proviene en gran medida del pequeño lago cerca de la entrada principal y la vida de las aves que trae.
Bercy Park es un gran lugar para hacer un picnic o para llevar en cualquiera de los restaurantes cercanos. El parque en sí es lo suficientemente ancho como para bloquear cualquier ruido o visión de la vida principal de la ciudad en el exterior, por lo que realmente puede relajarse.
En el fondo del Bercy Park hay otra gran atracción del distrito. AccorHotels Arena es un conocido complejo parisino que alberga desde grandes eventos deportivos hasta actuaciones musicales internacionales.

Musée des Arts Forains

Una de las mejores razónes para visitar Bercy Village. Dentro de los Pavillons de Bercy se encuentra el Museo de Artes Forains.
Este no es el típico museo de arte o historia. El espacio contiene una colección de equipos y estructuras de feria del siglo XIX que ya no se usan. Es la colección más grande de feria y muestra de objetos en toda Europa.
Un lugar excepcional donde compartir una fiesta exclusiva con tus amigos, atracciones y juegos que hacen de tu tiempo alli un rato muy entretenido.
La comida que puedes contratar y los servicios son magníficos siempre adecuando a los bolsillos. La parte exterior del lugar es precioso y cada rincón es un lugar para hacer una fotografía.
En la misma propiedad del Pabellón hay otra área llamada The Théâtre de Verdure. Este es un espacio al aire libre con algunos jardines Bercy más hermosos para explorar antes o después de su visita al museo.
Bercy Village puede ser pequeño, pero hay mucho que hacer y ver. Si el tiempo es esencial, entonces una visita guiada a pie es una excelente manera de llevarlo a través de las principales atracciones de manera oportuna.

Cinemateca Francesa

Una visita a Bercy Village no estaría completa sin esta atracción final. La Cinémathèque Française es una organización francesa que posee una de las colecciones más grandes de documentos y objetos relacionados con el cine en el planeta.
¡Se puede decir que todos los que forman parte de esta organización son increíblemente apasionados por todo lo relacionado con el cine! Desde cajas ópticas, hasta dispositivos de cinematografía, hasta la cabeza de la Sra. Bates en “Psycho” de Alfred Hitchcock.
Para celebrar el cine en todo el mundo, la Cinémathèque Française realiza proyecciones diarias de películas que han ido y venido a lo largo de los siglos.
Nos gusta que Bercy Village tenga esto para ofrecer, así como el complejo de cine de cine más moderno en Cour Saint-Emilion. Lo mejor de ambos mundos del cine a poca distancia el uno del otro.

Cruzando el Sena

Terminamos este recorrido por Bercy, saliendo unos metros de su frontera, justo al otro lado del sena. Podemos cruzar por la Pasarela Simone de Beauvoir. El puente es muy bonito, y del otro lado vamos a podes visitar la Biblioteca Nacional de Francia.
Tiene una vista muy original desde el puente. El Estadio Arena se encuentra muy cerca y la estación de metro también.
La biblioteca , además de guardar la historia de Francia y de la civilización toda, es un espacio abierto en donde hay muchos eventos culturales.
Aquí termina este recorrido y la ultima recomendacion es para un bonito café que queda a pocos metros de aquí: L’Arobase Café. Y para un trago con vistas al sena, la mejor opción es Barapapa

Compras en Bercy

Los aficionados de shopping se darán cita en Bercy Village. Creado sobre antiguas bodegas y almacenes de París, este atípico centro comercial al aire libre acoge numerosas tiendas (moda, belleza, cultura, decoracion…).
Para tener un ojo sobre las tendencias, también se puede comprar en los Docks, donde encontrará por ejemplo Silvera Outdoor, especializada en el equipamiento exterior. El cine MK2 Bibliothèque alberga un concept-store donde se pueden comprar DVD, libros, e incluso objetos muy de moda o ultramarinos.

Ruta por el Barrio Latino de París

El Barrio Latino es un barrio del centro de París que ocupa el Vº distrito y parte del VIº distrito.
Pero además de esta descripción básica, sin dudas es uno de los barrios más interesantes y con más vida de la ciudad.

 

Ruta por el Barrio de Montmartre

París es una ciudad para recorrer caminando, y seguramente junto al Barrio Latino, Montmartre es la mejor zona para andar y andar
Aunque no lo recomiendo para alojarse, no hay otro barrio como este en París. Situado en lo alto de una colina, a lo que los parisinos llaman “la butte”, aún conserva su atmósfera de suburbio.
Esta zona bohemia ha perdido algo de su ambiente original, debido a que se ha vuelto tan turistico que hay que esperar a la noche para ver algo de su carácter.

Ruta por el barrio Butte Aux Cailles

Recomiendo hacer un recorrido por este barrio de París, a todos los que me consultan por “lugares no tan conocidos en la ciudad”.
Butte Aux Cailles tiene mucha historia y ha sido desde siempre un barrio de origen obrero y hasta campesino, pero ahora les puedo asegurar que van a necesitar bastante más presupuesto para comprarse una casa aquí.
Ya no quedan las fábricas que se situaban a las afueras de París, y desde las llegada del metro también se han instalado muchas galerías de arte y artistas de todo tipo, además de restuarantes y bares.

Ruta por el barrio de Le Marais

Tras pasar por una fase de decadencia, el Marais resurgió con fuerza en la década de los 60 y en la actualidad esta lleno de bares modernos, tiendas y restaurantes sofisticados y en el que se encuentra instalada la comunidad homosexual de Paris.
Antiguo barrio residencial de la nobleza parisina, se sitúa en la orilla derecha del Sena y se caracteriza por su colorido y oferta cultural.

Ruta por el barrio de Montparnasse

Es una zona importante a nivel cultural y también comercial.  Es un barrio muy lindo, bastante tranquilo durante el día y con una vida nocturna muy interesante. Cafés, restaurantes, cines, teatros y algunos centros culturales que se han abierto en el último timepo como el Grands Voisins.
Otra atracción del barrio es su cementerio. Alli encontramos las tumbas de Simone de Beauvoir junto a Jean Paul Sartre, así como la de Julio Cortazar, entre otros. Para los que se animen desde este barrio se pueden visitar las Catacumbas de París.

Recorrido por Saint-Germain

Ubicado en pleno centro del 6to distrito de Paris, el muy elegante Saint-Germain-des-Prés ha conocido su edad de oro después de la guerra con Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Picasso, Man Ray, Léo Ferré o Georges Brassens.
Las calles más importantes son Boulevard Saint Germain, Rue Bonaparte, Rue des Saints-Péres, Rue de Grenelle y Rue du Dragon.
Saint Germain des Prés es uno de los barrios con más galerías por metro cuadrado de todo París. Existe hasta una Asociación de las galerías del barrio.

Ruta por el barrio de La Defensa

El barrio de La Défense, ocupa tres municipios: Courbevoie, Puteaux y Nanterre. Se trata de una zona moderna en París, en donde se concentran muchas de las oficinas de las grandes empresas de Europa.
Está ubicado en el oeste de la ciudad y si bien no tiene grandes atracciones turísticas, igualmente es interesante recorrerlo. Lo mejor es acercarnos con la línea 1 del metro, con parada propia en La Défense.

Ruta por el Barrio de Belleville

Belleville no tiene la fama a otros barrios cercanos, principalmente porque  no hay ninguna atracción de las más visitadas en esta zona de la ciudad.
Ubicado al nordeste de París, es el hogar de una mezcla de gentes, culturas y religiones. Era el barrio chino hace unos 20 años, pero se le agregaron poblaciones del norte de África, de las antiguas colonias francesas. Hoy en día se mantiene como uno de los barrios más auténticos de París.
