Este rincón de la ciudad, se podría considerar como la zona roja de París, al estilo de Amsterdam,   principalmente por su vida nocturna y sus cabarets, el Moulin Rouge entre ellos.

Pero el distrito Pigalle de París ha experimentado una transformación en la última década. No estamos seguros si para bien o para mal, pero lo que es cierto, que no es el mismo que en los 90.
Si bien continúa atrayendo muchos turistas a lo largo del Boulevard de Clichy (todavía en la actualidad con clubes y tiendas solo para adultos), también tiene un gran atractivo para los parisinos jóvenes y amantes del estilo en busca de los mejores cócteles y productos gourmet artesanales de la ciudad.
Esto es especialmente cierto en el área al sur del Boulevard. Museos extravagantes, bares raros y una fantástica vida nocturna completan el atractivo de Pigalle.

Cómo llegar a Pigalle

El distrito se extiende desde la parada de metro Pigalle en el Boulevard de Clichy hacia el este hacia el Moulin Rouge, hacia el oeste hacia la parada de metro Anvers, hacia el norte hacia la basílica del Sacré-Cœur en la vecina Montmartre, y al sur del bulevar a lo largo de la Rue des Martyrs y las calles circundantes. Se divide entre el distrito 9 al sur y el distrito 18 al norte.

A. Plaza de Pigalle

Nuestro recorrido por Pigalle puede empezar en esta plaza en donde también tenemos la parada de la línea 2 del Metro. Este lugar toma su nombre del escultor, Jean-Baptiste Pigalle. Hay una fuente en el medio.
Varias personalidades han vivido cerca de este lugar.  Uno de los más famosos fue  Salvador Dalí. El español vivió durante muchos años cerca de la Plaza Pigalle, girando en el círculo de una comunidad internacional de pintores y escritores. Hoy alberga su museo original. La visualización de imágenes tiene lugar en paralelo con la escucha de música en el espíritu del surrealismo, tan querido por el autor.
En la plaza hay un café dende muchas de celebridades fueron sus clientes habituales. Muchos de ellos, con poco dinero en sus bolsillos, pagaron con sus obras, que aún se mantienen en el lugar. Entre los visitantes del café se encontraban talentos como Pablo Picasso, Lautrec, Renoir, Maupassant y Verlaine.
En Polonia, es un símbolo de una generación. Un eslogan cinematográfico que ha entrado permanentemente en la memoria de millones de espectadores.
Antes de seguir hasta nuestro próximo item de la ruta, si caminamos unos 150 mts hasta el 88 Rue des Martyrs, podemos conocer una de las mejores boulangeries del barrio (Pain Pain) y de las más lindas de París. Y el personal es muy amable y servicial, y habla en inglés.
Y más cerca aún de la plaza, un lugar para comer francés sencillo, bien y accesible es Bouillon pigalle.

B. Cité du Midi

Entre sex-shops, cafés y bares a lo largo del boulevard de Clichy, un punto de encuentro en el corazón del barrio de Pigalle. La Cité du Midi es un pequeño rincón tranquilo situado en una de las zonas más animadas y ruidosas de París en el 48 Boulevard de Clichy.
Flores, arbustos, laureles, olivos, rosas. ‘Cité du midi’ se caracteriza por una cálida estética mediterránea.  Ya ya que estamos en la zona, ni se les ocurra entrar al bar Moer Sarl, realmente de los peores de toda la ciudad.

C. Café de Los Dos Molinos

El Café de Los Dos Molinos es un café de París. Se hizo famoso en 2001 en la película de Amélie,  porque fue el escenario en el que el personaje principal trabaja como camarera. Más alla de eso, el lugar no vale mucho la pena ni por la calidad de sus productos ni por sus precios. Lo mejor es una foto por fuera…que hay cientos de lugares con mejor atención que este.

D. Moulin Rouge

El Moulin Rouge es un famoso cabaret parisino, construido en 1889 y que se puede visitar para ver su espectaculo. Un lugar muy especial y reconocido mundialmente, con diferentes espectaculos Los precios son bastante caros, ya que el mínimo son como 80€, pero es un día determinado, el resto del año va desde los 110€ hacia arriba.
Es un buen lugar para una foto panorámica. La fachada es espectacular y la imagen es muy parisina. Al lado hay una discoteca llamada La Machine du Moulin Rouge.

E. Musée national Gustave Moreau

Interesante museo, tanto si te gusta la obra de Moreau como si no. Es un los museos del mundo con mayor número de obra de un mismo artista. Además de la magnífica colección de cuadros y dibujos, ver el taller y la casa es un auténtico lujo. Está perfectamente conservado y organizado. El propio edificio es bastante interesante y la casa llena de curiosidades.
Gustave Moreau es uno de los artistas plásticos mas geniales de finales del siglo XIX y de la completa Historia del Arte.  El costo es de €7 , pero se peude comprar una entrada especial, que por € 9 nos permite también ingresar al Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner.

F. PHONO Museum Paris

Termina el recorrido muy cerca desde donde empezamos. En este interesante museo para ver una colección de fonógrafos antiguos y aprender sobre el historial de grabación
Pigalle se ha asociado durante mucho tiempo con la música, y esta joya de colección merece una visita, no menos importante para apoyar su lucha por permanecer abierta. Con una fascinante colección de fonógrafos antiguos y obras de arte que los representan, el Museo Phono de París exhibe más de 140 años de audio grabado.
Aquí, los visitantes rastrean la historia de las tecnologías de grabación de sonido, desde los primeros fonógrafos de cilindro y disco hasta grabadoras y reproductores de CD. También es un museo que te sumerge en el romance y la nostalgia del viejo Pigalle, reviviendo fantasmas seductores de la Belle Époque y los locos años veinte.

Los cabarets de Pigalle

Pigalle tiene una tradición teatral profundamente arraigada que puedes ver fácilmente cuando paseas por las calles laterales del área. Además del Moulin Rouge, hay una gran cantidad de cabarets y teatros históricos en la zona.
Si quieres ir más allá de tomar una fotografía de sus fachadas del viejo mundo, a menudo exageradamente cómicas, lugares como La Nouvelle Eve, el clubChez Moune y el legendario teatro y sala de conciertos Le Trianon ofrecen una auténtica noche de Pigalle. actuaciones de estilo.

Les Justes – Pigalle

Otro buen bar, entre tantos malo que hay en esta parte de París. Pequeño y con cócteles  hechos con atención a los detalles y los ingredientes.
A estos camareros les encanta hacerte una bebida perfecta. Las bebidas tienen un buen precio para París.  Gran mezcla de originales cócteles y clásicos realizados por personas a las que les gusta su trabajo.

Le Bon Bock

Para una solución francesa clásica, echa un vistazo a Le Bon Bock y retrocede en el tiempo hasta el siglo XIX. Se dice que es uno de los restaurantes más antiguos de la zona, Le Bon Bock sirve deliciosa cocina tradicional francesa en un acogedor restaurante de madera.
