Nuevos museos y reaperturas en París

Los museos estaban cerrados en París desde finales de octubre. Afortunadamente, finalmente volvieron a abrir el 19 de mayo. Pero lo que es aún más emocionante es el hecho de que hay varios museos nuevos en París, o museos en proceso de renovación, que han abierto sus puertas desde que se levantaron las restricciones, o que lo harán pronto.

Musée du Louvre

El Louvre aprovechó su cierre para acometer una limpieza y restauración en profundidad. Se renovaron al menos dos alas, se limpiaron otras exposiciones y obras de arte con textos explicativos en las paredes, y más.

Galleria Continua

La galería de arte italiana Galleria Continua, que tiene su sede en San Gimignano pero tiene ubicaciones en Beijing, La Habana, Roma, São Paolo, ha abierto un nuevo espacio en París.

La Bourse de Commerce

La antigua bolsa de valores de París ha sido transformada por el arquitecto japonés Tadao Ando en un nuevo museo de arte contemporáneo, la Bolsa de Comercio. El museo albergará la colección del empresario y coleccionista de arte François Pinault. Originalmente programado para abrir en septiembre de 2020, luego pospuesto hasta el 23 de enero de este año, el espacio finalmente abrió el 22 de mayo.

Musée Carnavalet

Después de cuatro años de renovaciones, el Musée Carnavelet reabrió sus puertas el 29 de mayo. El museo es uno de los más antiguos de París, se remonta a 1880, con una colección que incluye más de 610.000 piezas raras. Se centra en la historia de la capital francesa desde la antigüedad hasta el siglo XX.
