Hotel en el Barrio Latino de París

Un nuevo Hotel para conocer en mi último viaje a París (sep 2017). En este caso se trata del Hotel Des Arenes y por primera vez me hospedé en el Barrio Latino.

Sin dudas es una de las mejores zonas para alojarse en París, pero ciertamente no es de las más económicas y la oferta de hostales y hoteles baratos es mucho menos que en otras zonas.
Casi imposible encontrar algún hotel por menos de €100, que era más o menos mi presupuesto.
Finalmente he pagado  €110 por una habitación privada y la experiencia ha sido buena.




El Hotel

Se trata de un Hotel tradicional, sin ningún tipo de pretensión moderna ni nada por el estilo. Todas las habitaciones presentan una decoración clásica, con todo lo necesario.
Es un 3 estrellas bastante típico en París pero a un precio menor a otros Hoteles similares, que pueden costar entre €130 y €150.
El trato del personal impecable, aunque como para comentar algo negativo, todos hablaban varios idiomas, pero ninguno español.
Un detalle importante para los que viajan en verano es que el hotel cuenta con aire acondicionado tanto en las habitaciones como en el salón.

Ubicación

Como comentaba al principio del post, este hotel se encuentra en el Barrio Latino,  a 10 minutos a pie de la catedral de Notre Dame y a 900 metros del río Sena. La estación de metro de Place Monge está a 100 metros y ofrece acceso directo al Chatelet y al Lourve.
También hay lineas de Bús a pocos metros, por lo que los desplazamientos no van a ser un problema.
Además es una zona muy tranquila y segura para recorrer a cualquier hora.

Servicios

Wifi funciona muy bien, pero el acceso se realiza mediante una clave que dura 24 hs, así que todos los días había que ir a la recepción y pedir la clave nueva que solo sirve para un dispositivo, si tenemos el movil y una notebook vamos a necesitar 2 claves.
Realmente nose cuando pueden llegar a ahorrarse con esto o si lo hacen por alguna razón de seguridad pero es algo molesto.
En la descripción que hay del hotel en Google, dice que el WiFi se cobra aparte, pero no es verdad, ya esta incluído, simplemente hay que solicitar la clave.
En cuanto al desayuno, bastante bueno. Ni va a ser el mejor desayuno de tu vida pero tampoco el peor.
Igualmente se puede contratar la habitación sin desayuno y para esos casos tenemos un post para comentar los mejores desayunos de París.

Habitaciones

Están equipadas con aire acondicionado, televisión vía satélite, conexión Wi-Fi y baño privado.
La cama y las almohadas cómodas y el tamaño de la habitación bueno en relación a los tamaños de Paris. Se puede acceder a todas ellas en ascensor.

Hemos visitado bastantes hostales y hoteles en París. Te contamos sobre el Hostal Les Piaules en la zona de Belleville , el Hostal Le Montclair  y el St Christopher’s Inn Paris que queda muy cerca de Gare du Nord.
En cuanto  los hoteles, tenemos experiencia en el Hotel Fance Albion y en el Est Hotel.
